CLAUDIO RANIERI’S SIDE IN THE TRANSFER MARKET AGAIN

This time the big spending side, Monaco, are preparing to land Sporting Lisbon goal keeper, Rui Patricio, as they have agreed on the asking price from the Portuguese club.

Patricio would be joining former teammate Joao Moutinho if the deal pulls through. With the move having some extra performance bonus on Patricio’s 30 appearances for Monaco and wining the Ligue title, this seem to be a rather mouth watery deal for the 25 year old. Arsenal on the other hand failed on the bid for Patricio as they refuse to up their 10 million pounds which didn’t meet with Lisbon’s asking price of 13 million pounds. This has left them hanging as they hope to show interest toward Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes who would be free at the end of the season
