Manchester City vs Bayern Munich - Match preview and line-up

Bayern Munich traveled to England to face group D teammate at Etihad stadium in tonight’s fixture.

Former premier league champions have been pretty impressive at home, although hasn't been consistent winners in the home league.

Manchester city boss Manuel Pellegrini has said his team needs to play for 90 minutes in the best way. Pellegrini said “if we can’t win its better we draw than lose but we’re not going to go onto the pitch thinking a draw against Bayern. From the first minute we will go for 3 points”.

David Silva and Sergio Aguero will be among the starting line-up for City after recovery from injury.

This will be a difficult task for city as, champions league holders Bayern has been unbeaten in its last 7 matches in the domestic league as they have won six and drawn one.  They probably don’t know how to lose. Former Barcelona starlet Thiago Alcantara is ruled out due to injury (ligament damage)
Both teams won their Champions league opening game in a 3 goal to nil margins.

Man City – predicted line-up
Hart, Clichy, Kompany, Nastasic, Zabeleta, Fernandingho, Toure, Silva, NavaS, Aguero, Dzeko

Bayern – predicted line-up

Neuer, Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Rafinha, Gotze, Schweinsteiger, Ribery, Robben, Muller, Mandzukic
