Report from Italy has claimed that
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho may snatch Roma defender Mehdi Benatia from
Manchester City.
Manchester City had made some
agreement with the Morocco international as Pellegrini wishes to pair him with
City captain Vincent Kompany, but the Eithad boss hasn't come up with an offer
yet.
Chelsea has seized this opportunity
and would be swapping Romelu Lukaku the other way if the deal pulls through as
they also hope to replace David Luiz who has joined Paris-saint Germain.
This development has increased the
asking price of the former Udinese man to £38 million
