Mikel speaks on his future(READ)

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has pledged his immediate future to the club despite speculations as he wishes to finish the last two years on his contract at Stamford Bridge

The Nigerian international has been linked with clubs from Dubia and the United Arab Emirates but Mikel has said he is happy at Chelsea.

According to London Evening Standard, Mikel said "I have two more years left on my contract here and want to see them out. I am happy here and we will see what happen"

The 28-year-old seem to be in the good book of manager Jose Mourinho as the Portuguese is contended with the variety of midfielders on his team.

And as Mikel also claimed Mourinho wants him to stay at Stamford bridge; The second choice defensive midfielder will be entering his 10th season with the Blues come August 8th.
