READ Players reaction to the Champions League draw

The UEFA Champions league draws took place at Monaco on Thursday night. It was a very colourful night as players troop in to witness their next opponent.

Argentine star Lionel Messi became the UEFA player of the year 2014-2015 as expected beating rival Cristiano Ronaldo. And it was Barcelona who was winning all the awards with the Best Team Award and Best Save going their way.

UEFA female player of the year went to Sasic being the top scorer at the champions league and also the Women World Cup.

The draws had already taken place before the award presenting and the result was somewhat surprising for some than others
