The white Hart lane side has made a bid for the Bosnian international
Miralem Pjanic. Tottenham has been on
the issue of signing the attacking midfielder from Roma ever since Franco
Baldini (Tottenham’s new
football director) was there.
The London side is preparing 15 million pounds for the
former Lyon player. This would rather be a difficult deal as Pjanic seem to
have impressed his coach coupled with scoring twice against Toronto FC on
Wednesday. Roma’s head coach Rudi Garcia has claimed that Pjanic is one of his
best assets.
The 23year old who joined the Serie A side in 2011, and had
an impressive play for his former club side Lyon during the Champions League.
Pjanic has made 40 caps senior club appearances scoring 8 goals in the domestic
league.
