WENGER TO APPEAL RED CARD

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said he may appeal the red card shown to his player Mikel Arteta.

Arteta had a contact with former Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh and was issued an instant red card in the second half of this afternoon’s fixture with Crystal Palace. The clash happened as a result of the Gunners eagerness to score a second goal as the match was somewhat difficult for the Emirate side.
