Barcelona starlet Martin Montoya has played
down speculation linking him in a move away from Spain.
The 22-year-old is one of the success
stories from La Masia (Barcelona youth academy).
Montoya display at the wing back has
attracted interest from Liverpool and Inter Milan, with Liverpool leading the
chase as they hope to land the Spaniard in January.
Montoya has always been made second
choice as Dani Alves would always be chosen over him, but on injury to both
Dani Alves and Jordi Alba, Montoya has since been playing in the first team.
This has made him to say “I’ve been
with the club for 14 years and I still have many months on my contract. And I expect
much more than that” said Montoya according to Talksport
