Cristiano Ronaldo wins Ballon d'Or 2013

As the much awaited award "FIFA Ballon D'Or" took place at Zurich on Monday night, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed the pinnacle of the award.

The 28-year-old beats Barcelona star Lionel Messi to win the title for the second time since 2008; a result that brought out tears of joy from eyes of the Portuguese.

"I cannot expect a better night than this one even in my dreams" says the former Manchester United player

Former Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes won the coach of the year.
