Real Madrid has lost interest in Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez following recent incident the 27-year-old had with Italy defender Georgio Chiellini
Suarez allegedly bit Chiellini in
their World cup group stage clash which ended 1-0 in favour of Uruguay
World governing football body, FIFA,
has investigated the incident and came out with a verdict. This verdict will
see the Liverpool striker out for four months with nine international match bans
and has also attracted a stipulated fee as penalty.
But this punishment will not affect
transfer and Barcelona seems to be in front ahead of Real Madrid according to former
Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon.
“It seems Barcelona are close to him,
he is looking at going there”, Calderon said
“We also know he is close to
Barcelona because his wife is from there and, I believe, his children were born
there”
