Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is
reported to be keen on bringing defensive midfielder Sami Khedira to the
Emirate stadium.
Wenger is willing to offer the Real
Madrid star a mouth watery deal which will see him earning 150,000-a-week; a
contract which will beat the Gunner’s current highest paid Mesut Ozil down.
As Real Madrid is on a bid of
convincing Toni Kroos to the Santiago Bernabue, it might just mean an exit for
Khedira will be the next option.
As it is unsure whether Real Madrid
boss Carlos Ancelotti would really let Khedira go, Wenger has put in place Lars
Bender (Bayer Leverkusen) and Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton) as plan B.
