Manchester United splash huge cash to land Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United are reportedly interested in landing their former star Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer from Real Madrid and the English side is more than willing to meet the £65 million asking price.

It is understood that this will see the 30-year-old taking home a whooping £269,000 weekly and £14 million yearly.

Owing to the current drop in form from the Spanish giants after dropping to second place on the La-Liga table and losing to arch rival Barcelona, Madrid's match confidence may have lowered a bit.

But, the reigning European champions will possibly pick up the pieces and return to best form as they face Granada at the Bernabue in the next La-Liga fixture.

The Madrid super star who has scored 31 La-Liga goals this season would become Man United record transfer if such a deal pulls through.
