Barcelona emerges as La-liga winners

Barcelona became the Spainish La-liga winners for the 23rd times as they beat defending champions Atletico Madrid 1-0 at the Vincente Calderon on Sunday.

The lone goal came from their famous star Lionel Messi as he stroke it low beyond the reach of Juan Oblak in the 65th minute. The win was good enough to claim the title for the 2014/2015 season

The Catalan giant fought hard this season until the 37th fixture to clinch the league title despite stern competition from Real Madrid.
