Oliseh lures Akpom and Iwobi to the national team

New Nigerian coach Sunday Oliseh is reported to have been in England trying to convince some Nigerian linage to the senior national team in a bid to build a formidable side.

It is understood that Oliseh has been talking to uncapped England players who has Nigeria linage hoping to lure them to fly the green and white flag for their country.

It is also reported that Oliseh had talks with Arsenal duo starlet Chuba Akpom and Alex Iwobi and hope they choose to play for Nigeria as getting a call-up for England will be very competitive and may not materialize any time soon.

Nigeria would be facing Tanzania in their next African Nations Cup qualifier fixture in September 5th.
