GARETH BALE WINS AWARD

Real Madrid’s midfielder Gareth Bale was awarded best footballer of the year by his home country Wales and was also awarded outstanding player of the year.
Bale started his career at Southampton in 2006. The free kick specialist known for his pace, stamina and agility scored his first league goal as a result of a free kick.

Bale is a great left footer with exceptional physical qualities. Known for his speed, the Welsh man said he ran 100 metre sprint for 11.4 seconds when he was 14. No wonder Real Madrid just couldn’t let go until he was gotten for a world record deal


 Bale is receiving this award for the third time after winning it in 2010 and 2011. The 24-year-old shares his fame with Mark Hughes and John Hartson who has also won the award thrice.
