NIGERIA READY FOR ETHIOPIA CLASH AS AMEOBI WARNS EAGLES

Nigeria football team, the Super Eagles, will be in battle with Ethiopia for 2014 World Cup qualifying playoff on Sunday at Addis Ababa.
Super Eagles has been tipped to be the favorites in this clash as they train intensively at the Abuja Stadium. But, Newcastle striker Shola Amoebi has warned that Ethiopia are not pusher-overs.

Amoebi said” they topped their group like we topped ours and they want to be at the World Cup like we want, but we would go there and give our best for our country to ensure that the result is favorable”

The 31-year-old seems to be fully motivated and ready despite delay in flight from England to Nigeria. Amoebi described his flight as long and tiring, but his getting used to it. He said “I want to go to the World Cup so I must make the sacrifice”

Super Eagles coach has expressed confidence as he said “My players are professionals and they will be ready for any pitch that the Ethiopians will have on offer, because at this level we don’t offer any excuses”.
