Newcastle values Cabaye high

Newcastle has raised the price tag on  play-maker Yohan Cabaye in a bid to keep him at St James Park. The Mapgies would love to let him go for 22million pounds, a price they hope would scare interested parties.

It is understood that Arsenal and Manchester united were both interested in the 27-year-old, with the Gunners having their 10 million pounds rejected last summer.

AS Roma has also shown interest as Rudi Garcia hopes to reunite with the France international. But, Cabaye has once shown love for Paris Saint Germain as he had publicly declared his interest for the French club (maybe it's because that's his nationality).

With Arsenal preparing to land the talented midfielder in January, it is hoped that Man United would also do same as they are still in search of  a savoir to their midfield problem
