[PHOTO] Balotelli moves to congratulate Kompany at the tunnel

Chelsea were brutally battered by rivals Manchester City in a 3 goal saga at the Eithad Stadium in Manchester on Sunday night.

After intense pressure on Chelsea's defense, it took the clinical finish of City striker Sergio Aguero to net in the opener in the 31st minute.

Vincent Kompany scored the 2nd with a powerful header through a corner from David Silva in the 79th minute, while Fernandinho's classical finish after a defense error from Chelsea rounded up the humiliation in the 85th minute.

Three points deserve on home soil

But, it was Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli that was all in the news for probably the best reasons, i guess, as the controversial striker was seen congratulating Kompany with a hug at the tunnel for registering his name on the score sheet

The former City forward had a successive term at the club with 20 goals and his presence was most welcome by the message on the club's official twitter account.
