The pressure from the English giant has made David
Moyes so keen to the signing of a high profile player. This has pushed the Old
Trafford Boss into numerous approaches which seem to be impossible. This has
turned into an interesting season movie.
At first, as two weeks back, Moyes, made formal bids for Fabregas in Barcelona which were rejected. The Barcelona midfielder has said he would only remain in the club if new manager Gerardo Martino gives him assurance that he needs him; and Gerardo did
Moyes later thought of
plan B. 23 million pounds was also set aside for Marouane Felliani Everton’s
midfielder as plan B if the deal with Barcelona doesn’t pull off well. That
also didn’t go well.
As Moyes pursuit for
Fabregas came to an end with Barcelona rejecting his bid twice coupled with the
public declaration by the former Arsenal skipper that he would love to stay at
Barca, Moyes decided to move interest to Real Madrid’s midfielder Luka Modric. It
was said that Moyes would have to prepare 25 million pounds as asking price if
he ever wants to buy the former White Hart Lane’s player. We didn’t hear much from that deal
Now, Moyes seem to be preparing a bid for Real
Madrid’s stylish midfielder Mesut Ozil. This is so unlikely as they will have
to compel Real to sell.
Determined Moyes has said “I’m confident we’ll have
players in before the start of the season, yeah”. In his speech it was
concluded that he became Manchester United July 1st, which is a
short time to get to understand the market and also players.
Does that mean Moyes is stil a learner?
