BEKISTAS MOVES A STEP AHEAD IN SIGNING PIRLO

Turkey side Bekistas has joined the likes of Chelsea, Manchester united and Tottenham for the signature of Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo

Tottenham has been keen on the services of the 34-year-old whose contract with the Turin expires next summer.

But Bekistas has taken a step ahead of rivals as they will table a substantial bid to try and tempt the Italian according to rumours from Turkey.

Bekistas are understood to be going for a long term offer instead of the normal short term expected for a player of Pirlo’s age.

Although Pirlo decided to shift contract talk till the summer, clubs from all over seem to be keeping close eyes on him.
