Manchester City has qualified from the group D stage of
Champion League with just two games left.
City has joined the reigning Champions Bayern Munich in the
next battle stage as Bayern hopes to defend title.
Manchester City started this year’s Champions League campaign
winning 3-0 away at Viktoria Plzen home soil. Although they lost to Bayern in
their next fixture after beating Viktoria Plzen, they prove themselves worthy
champions as they flogged CSKA Moscow both home and away, cruising into the
last 16.
Getting to the knock out stage isn’t new to City manager
Manuel Pellegrini as he achieved that with Malaga last season.
According to Soccerway Pellegrini said “We will see what
happens in the draw, we don’t know who we’ll play- but I am sure whoever we
play won’t be happy to play against us”.
