Manchester City midfielder Jesus
Navas scored the fastest goal in the English Premier league as City hammered
Tottenham 6-0.
Navas set the goals coming with just 14seconds into the game. The Spaniard was in determined form as he sealed the comfortable win win a second goal in the ninetieth minute.
This was rather a humiliating episode
for tottenham manager Andre Villa-Boas who took to twitter to apologise to fans
“The only thing I can say is sorry,
it’s a very poor result, not to our level” Villa-Boas tweeted.
On an earlier post I posted on this
blog, City boss had said he doesn’t see tottenham as title contenders or rivals
and has well proved that as his side dominated throughout the match.
Villa-Boas would be forced to go back
to the drawing board as his side hasn’t score in their last three campaigns and
would be facing another title rival Manchester United this weekend.
