Chelsea to land Napoli striker

Chelsea are interested in landing Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain according to reports from England.

The Blues boss Jose Mourinho is willing to reunite with the Argentine, as Higuain was among the success story of the rewarding 2012 season while Mourinho was in Real madrid.

Mourinho is willing to bring such relationship to Stamford Bridge in a bid to solve the drought in goals from any of the trio Demba Ba, Fernando Torres and Samuel Etoo.

It is also understood that Napoli are more than willing to let the 26-year-old go. Higuain joined to Italian club in the summer as Arsenal couldn't bring the striker to the Emirates.

Now Chelsea would have to prepare £48 million for the forward.
