Napoli hoping to sign Barcelona midfielder

Napoli are closing in on a loan move for Barcelona out-of-favour midfielder Alex Song in January.

The former Arsenal man has only been used a few times by the Catalan club manager Gerardo Martino and this has got the 26-year-old worried.

There has been speculation from various clubs interested in the holding midfielder, but Napoli seem closer as they hope to bring the Cameroonian on loan and possibly sign him at the end of the season

Song has had seven appearances out of fifteen this season for Barca.
