Essien to leave Chelsea in January

Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien would most likely leave Stamford Bridge in January as claimed by his agent Fabian Piveteau.

The Ghanaian star hasn't been featured as much in this season's campaign as he was never included in the Blues Champion league squad.

Although the 31-year-old had spent time with Mourinho in Real Madrid last season on loan, the Special One don't seem to see Essien worthy of place in Chelsea's midfield.

Essien is now up for exit as he may leave for Paris Saint Germain according to Piveteau.

Essien has won four FA cups, two Premier league title and one champion league title with the Blues since joining in 2005 from Lyon.
