RECORD BREAKER: Cristiano Ronaldo is the first to score nine goals in the group stage

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has beaten the records held by Hernan Crespo (8 goals) and Fillipo (8 goals) Inzaghi as he scores his 9^th goal in the group stage of the Champions league against FC Kobenhavn.

The match ended in a 2-0 win with Luca Modric seeing the back of the net first and Ronaldo sealing it up as a result of an assist from Marcelo.
