[STRANGE] Mandzukic face punishment after being fowled

Atletico Madrid clashed with Real Madrid in Tuesday night Champions league fixture at Vicente Calderon ended goaless

The game seem not to be pleasurable but instead turned out brutal for Atletico striker Mario Mandzukic.

The Croatia international suffered an elbow from Segio Ramos while both struggled for the ball leaving Mandzukic battered with a bloody face. Surprisingly Mandzukic was yellow carded after a challenge on Raphael Varane soon after.

Later on in the game, Dani Carvajal angrily released some punches on Mandzukic chest coupled with a bite after a collision between both players.

What was suppose to be a sending off wasn't even noticed by the Referee.
