Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini may face sack after a series of defeats in the premier league. His team has lost 6 games out of 8 and this result has been rather disappointing from the side which had same points with league leaders Chelsea on New Years day.
It was a shocking result when the famous sky-blue lost against Crystal Palace and was relegated to 4th; but efforts to redeem their image proved abortive with a hammering 4-2 from arch rival Manchester United
It is understood that Champion league football is key as this would favour some big signings coming into the Eithad, but this seem rather unlikely as Pellegrini men's is slightly slipping away thereby encouraging Liverpool who are now just four point away in 5th position in the table after a comfortable win over Newcastle on Monday night.
According to reports, it is understood that if City drops any further, Pellegrini may see the exit door and Bayern Munich's manager Pep Guardiola may be his replacement.
Although I am not sure of Guardiola's response as his contract with Munich ends in 2016.
