Chile becomes Copa America champions

Host Chile defeated favourites Argentina in penalties after a goalless draw to lift the Copa America cup for the first time in history at the Santiago.

The match was a tough one as both teams slog it out with beautiful attacking display but none was convincing enough to make a break through.

Chile surprisingly came all out as they attacked more in different angles forcing Argentina into defensive play, and by the time Argentina went came out, Chiliean keeper Claudio Bravo always came to their rescue.

The Barcelona keeper was named the man of the match as he stopped one of the penalties shootout before Alexis Sanchez sealed with the the final penalty kick.

Argentina seem to be unlucky with finals as they have lost another important final after lossing the world cup to Germany last year
