Napoli will be travelling down to the Emirate Stadium to face
Arsenal in Champions’ League group clash. Both teams seem to be resilient as
they both top their home leagues.
Napoli has never met with Arsenal on a competitive level
before.
With Arsenal losing some key players to injury, the London
side may likely struggle against the Italian side, although they have been
consistent winners even with this predicament. Players on injury include Theo
Walcott, Lukas Podolski, Santi Carzola and Alex Ox-Chamberlain.
Despite injury nemesis, Arsenal’s boss Arsene Wenger is
rather happy at the return of Czech International Tomas Rosicky as Wenger said
he can play in all offensive areas. This statement has created the assurance in
my mind that the 32-year-old attack minded midfielder will play in Tuesday
fixture.
Although, Wenger has not been able to solve his side’s defensive
problems, this will now be tested by Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain. A player
Wenger missed out on during the transfer window.
Probably we will see a little bit of surprise from the London side as was shown in its home league weekend clash against Swansea that saw new face Serge Gnabry score a goal.
