FORMER SPAIN INTERNATIONAL SUPPORTS GOLDEN EAGLET

Former Spain international player has praised the Golden eaglet.

The retired youth player Pablo Coira has rained praise and support for the Nigeria Under-17 team, “the Golden Eaglet”, ahead of the Under-17 FIFA World Cup that would be hosted in United Arab Emirates later this month. The tournament begins October 17 and ends November 8.

Coira who was part of the Spanish team that won the World Cup in Nigeria 1999, said “I hope you guys would be able to win the World Cup here; for me; it has to be Nigeria and I wished you all the best”

Golden Eaglet, who has been the most successful in this tournament with 3 titles and 3 runner ups, would be expected to play a friendly against soccer team of American University in Dubai
